Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

The candidates applying for this job vacancy should have held a judicial office in India or should be a member of tribunal or any post under the Union or a state requiring special knowledge of law for minimum seven years. Or

The candidates should have practised as an advocate in high court for a succession of at least seven years. Or

The candidates should have completed their post graduation in law with specialisation in Personal Law. Or

The candidates should possess a post graduation degree in social sciences such as Master of Social Welfare, Sociology, Psychology/ Philosophy. Also, they should have a degree in law and minimum seven years of experience. Or

The candidates should have seven years of experience in application of Central/State Laws relating to marriage, divorce, maintenance, guardianship, adoption and other family disputes.

Age limit:

The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 35 years.

Selection process:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the written test/viva voice.

Application fee:
The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs1000 as application fee (In case of backward classes, the candidates should pay Rs 500) to be drawn in favour of "Assistant Registrar, for Registrar General, High Court, Appellate Side, Bombay".

Eligibility:
Candidates should have a degree in law from the recognized University.

Candidates should have minimum three years' experience at the Bar.

Experience as Govt. advocate is desirable.
Candidates applying for the post should not be more than the age of 30 years as on May 7, 2014

Pay scale:
The remuneration payable to candidates would be equal to the minimum of the pay band (i.e. 9300-34800) Rs 9300 + Grade Pay Rs 4600 + DA applicable on the date of offer of appointment which will remain fixed for the purpose of calculation of monthly pay till the contract is valid.

Selection Procedure:
Applications of the candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of eligibility conditions and thereafter the candidates will be called for interview by the Selection / Expert Committee. The Expert/ Selection Committee will select the candidates on the basis of their professional ability.
