The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for its State Service (Mains) Examination 2014. Last date to submit online applications is May 7, 2014.The candidates are called to apply for the State Services (Main) Exam 2014 on the basis of the results declared by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) on April 11, 2014 for the State Services (Preliminary) Exam conducted on February 2, 2014.
The exam is held to test the eligibility of candidates for recruitment to 433 various posts.

The Department of Biotechnology, Ministry Of Science & Technology, Government Of India has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Director,CDFD, Hyderabad.The position is available on deputation (including short-term contract), Centre for DNA Fingerprinting & Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, from Indian citizens including those staying abroad and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

Eligibility:
The applicants should be Scientists from Central/State Governments, research institutes, autonomous bodies etc.
Candidates should have :

•     Ph.D in any life science discipline/M.D. or equivalent
•     Minimum  15  years experience  of  research  in  the area of organismal, cellular, molecular or systems biology, or biotechnology.
•     Excellent track record, hand in publications, patent and awards
•     Holding analogues post on regular basis in the parent Department.
•     5  years  service  in  post  with Grade  Pay  of   Rs 10,000/-  or  equivalent  in  the  parent cadre/Department

Pay Scale:
67,000 (annual increment @ 3%) - 79,000/- with usual allowances as per the Govt. of India Rules.
