Aligarh Muslim University Recruitment 2014

Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh is recruiting for the position of Guest Faculty in the department of Ilaj-Bit-Tadbeer Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Faculty of Unani Medicine, on the monthly gross salary of a regularly appointed assistant professor. The appointment is temporary and for the period of one year. Interested candidates have to send in their job applications before April 12, 2014.

Vacancy details:
Name of vacancy: Guest Faculty
Eligibility criteria:
The candidate should have a good academic record with at least 55 per cent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's level in relevant subject from a recognised university.
In case the candidate has done his or her Ph.D, a relaxation of 5 per cent marks will be given.
Also, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test. Applicants who hold a Ph.D degree will be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of assistant professor/guest faculty.
The applicant should not be more than 45 years of age.
Pay scale:
Pay Band PB - 3 and Pay Scale of Rs 15,600/- to Rs 39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay Rs 6,000/- plus allowances as admissible.
Application fee:
The applicant is required to pay an application fee of Rs 150/- through Demand Draft/ Original Cash receipt in the State Bank of India (AMU Branch).
