Bombay High Court Announces Job Vacancy At The Post of Judge 2014

The Bombay High Court has invited applications for recruitment at the post of judges. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by June 4.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
The candidates applying for this job vacancy should have held a judicial office in India or should be a member of tribunal or any post under the Union or a state requiring special knowledge of law for minimum seven years. Or
The candidates should have practised as an advocate in high court for a succession of at least seven years. Or
The candidates should have completed their post graduation in law with specialisation in Personal Law. Or
The candidates should possess a post graduation degree in social sciences such as Master of Social Welfare, Sociology, Psychology/ Philosophy. Also, they should have a degree in law and minimum seven years of experience. Or
The candidates should have seven years of experience in application of Central/State Laws relating to marriage, divorce, maintenance, guardianship, adoption and other family disputes.
Age limit:
The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 35 years.
Selection process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the written test/viva voice.
Application fee:
The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs1000 as application fee (In case of backward classes, the candidates should pay Rs 500) to be drawn in favour of "Assistant Registrar, for Registrar General, High Court, Appellate Side, Bombay".

In order to apply, the candidates can apply here. After submitting the duly filled application forms, the candidates should take a printout of the same. This needs to be sent to "Registrar General, High Court, Fort, Mumbai - 400032". The candidates should send the demand draft along with the required certificates/ testimonials and two passport size photographs.
